About Kate
Always fascinated by humans, Kate studied anthropology before changing gears from the study of the people of the past to the people of the present via a nursing degree.
Kate’s desire is to use her 17+ years of bedside nursing experience to educate the broader public through healthcare writing. She has a passion for patient education and an aptitude for effectively communicating through content.
Kate studied anthropology and French at Rutgers College and nursing at Drexel University. She is board certified in medical-surgical nursing.
When she is not behind the computer or at the bedside, Kate can be found hanging out with her husband and their 5 children, hiking around New Jersey, tending her garden, or trying really hard to speak better French.
